Last week A. Lamp Concrete Construction pressure tested and chlorinated the new water main on Joanne Drive.  Additionally, A. Lamp began storm sewer and sanitary sewer repairs in various locations on Joanne Drive.  This week A. Lamp is scheduled to begin water service installation on the north side of Joanne Drive and later in the week they will begin water service installation on the south side of Joanne Drive.  During the water service installation the contractor will be required to transfer the individual water services for each home from the old main to the new main.  The morning of the water service work, the contractor will knock on your door to notify you of the pending water shutoff and give you ample time to use your water.  The shutoff will last for 1 to 2 hours on average.  Once installed, they will ask you to flush your system, and if no one is home, they will use an outside hose bib connection to flush the new service.  If you have discolored water, please open your faucets and flush out the lines and water should clear up.
